This project presents a humanoid creature design that I developed as part of a university assignment. The character was fully sculpted in ZBrush, with a focus on exploring both anatomical structure and stylized exaggeration. During the process, I utilized remeshing techniques to refine the topology and improve the overall form.
The creature is intentionally designed as a humanoid figure, allowing me to treat this project as an in-depth anatomy study. I aimed to understand how realistic human anatomy can be pushed into a more monstrous and expressive direction while still maintaining a believable underlying structure. Particular attention was given to muscle definition, bone landmarks, and the distortion of facial features to create a more unsettling and aggressive appearance.
This assignment served as both a technical and creative exercise. I learned a great deal about sculpting workflows, form refinement, and the importance of silhouette and proportion in character design. At the same time, it gave me the opportunity to experiment freely and develop my own visual language within the creature design space.
Overall, this project was a valuable learning experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed the process of bringing this humanoid creature to life.
